Vedic Astrology Reports Vedic Astrology is based on a different system of astrology called Sidereal Astrology. The Sidereal system of Astrology or Vedic Astrology defines the 12 Sun signs based on the fixed stars.  Western Astrology divides the ecliptic into 12 Sun signs named after the closest constellations to the Sun.  The tropical system of Astrology or Western Astrology defines the 12 Sun signs based on the position of vernal equinox in the northern hemisphere.  Both are valauble systems of astrology and worthy for their vast knowlege.
